What is a transcript?
Transcripts are officially stamped documents that state the grades/scores applicant has scored in the subject-wise study. A transcript is proof of education. It has a detailed record of all the subjects the student has studied with the scores in the form of marks or grades given by the institution.
When do students need a Transcript?
To attend a college or university abroad, the applicants need to provide the admission committee with a set of documents to support their previous academic qualifications. These documents are called Academic Transcripts or Transcripts of Records. As proof of completing school, undergraduate, or post-graduation, these documents are mandatory to justify suitability for the programme that students aspire to pursue.
How to acquire a Transcript?
The student needs to fill up the transcript format provided by our institute, along with the copies of all Semester’s passing mark sheet.
The office prepares the transcripts by entering the semester wise Marks/Grade into a word format containing a Covering letter mentioning the students Name, year of admission and passing month and year and the content of the percentage calculated in a table format.
Mostly students take transcripts after completing their engineering however some apply when they are studying in Semester VII.
These transcripts are signed by the Registrar/Principal and put in a sealed envelope.
The charges for the transcripts are ₹1000/- (Rupees One thousand only)
Marksheets are provided after results of each semester are declared.Marksheets show the results of the subjects that the student has appeared in a semester.
